I’m a web developer of mobile-ready websites and hybrid device apps for enterprise level entities. Currently working for myself in South Georgia, I create responsive websites, Angular apps and intelligent dashboards. I work with Clients to design the perfect platform for their needs, followed by custom development of that platform. All of my projects are done from the ground up and are truly unique.
I’ve also built plenty of custom API’s, dashboards and interfaces with various technologies. I provide consultation services for companies looking to achieve technological scalability; I also provide consultation services for building the correct, credentialed IT team to maintain enterprise level applications. I’m currently specialized in hybrid app development with NativeScript and Ionic frameworks, utilizing the latest versions of Angular with TypeScript.
Beyond websites and apps, I keep up with the latest developments in machine learning (AI) and developing accurate trend/weight algorithms. Utilizing open source frameworks, such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, I have access to tools and libraries that accelerate and sharpen the machine learning process. I have lead and contributed to machine learning projects across multiple industries including entomological attribute recognition through image learning, detailed trend reports on financial asset accounts and Cost Of Goods Sold, automated farming and zoo-keeping environment management, and more.
I work well with a team, partitioning various parts of a project to those most suited for the job. I also work well alone by wearing different hats and exploring best-practice with each project. As a web developer, I enjoy what I do and look forward to completing my next piece of work.
If you are looking for a credentialed programmer and SDLC specialist to bring a heavy impact to your project or team, please reach out to me.
No valid web developer will leave a project unfinished or deprecated in any way. I promise to always use best practice with every aspect of the design and development journey. I also promise to use the latest technology available at time of launch. When I take on a project, I truly care about the quality in every step of the process. I do my best to comb through all of my work and limit redundancies; from compiling all of the javascript and style sheets into one file, to perfectly organizing the structure of files and variables for the next guy, you’ll always find best practice in any of my projects.
I started my educational career as a student of medicine at Eastern Washington University. The rigorous academic requirements of the program I was in set me up with a solid understanding of mathematics and the skill of studying for long hours. After changing schools to the University of Alaska Anchorage, I decided to use my mathematics education for electrical engineering. My world changed quite a bit as I began to learn the basics of object oriented programming and computer processes. I spent a couple of years studying code and computer science as prerequisites for my engineering curriculum. I then decided to use my programming knowledge to start a business. Thus I dropped out of school and haven’t looked back.
The industry for a web developer is constantly evolving. Because of this, I knew I needed to continue my education with code and computer science. I found a plethora of free resources online from current industry leaders. Through this I could study leading technology from those creating it and stay even more up to date with technology advancements than I could studying at a university. University professors are typically teachers and not entrepreneurs. Thus they tend to be around 4 years behind the ball for best practice. From this, I ended up in a network of professionals who care greatly about their work and seem to always posses a large drive for pushing the limits of technology.
I work closely with a team of professionals who are all very skilled in their corner of the market. I’m able to reach out to designers and developers of different disciplines to double down on work, get advice or bounce ideas off of. Every agency I have worked for or with has introduced me to teammates who are very skilled in their disciplines. I work hard to maintain my network of like-minded professionals to ensure I’m constantly part of latest technology evolutions and actively involved in those dialogues. No web developer is complete without a supporting team of like-minded professionals. Though they are behind the scenes about 90% of the time, all of my work is backed by a team of all-stars.
I’m a father of 2 beautiful children and a husband to my amazing wife, Jenny. Together we enjoy regular trips to the local disc-golf courses, hiking and camping excursions, hunting and fishing trips and finding the next fun thing to involve ourselves in. I like to play guitar and I also try to keep up with my childhood love of skateboarding and snowboarding. I try to keep my outlook on life light-weight and fun. As such I believe that energy carries through to my work, allowing every project to be creative.
